Ficus Petiolaris [photo taken 20 April 2001] My Ficus Petiolaris (commonly known as Lava Fig, Sonoran Rock Fig, or Mary's Tree) is one of my favorite plants and I treat it more like a houseplant than a succulent. The leaves have a beautiful strong vein pattern. This plant was purchased (along with seven other succulents) at Lone Pine Gardens (6450 Lone Pine Road, Sebastopol, CA 95472; 707/823-5024) on 18 July 1998. [photo taken 13 January 2000]
