Euphorbia cotinifolia [photo taken 12 January 2000] I purchased this plant at The Dry Garden (6556 Shattuck Avenue, Oakland, CA; 510/547-3564) sometime around summer 1998. It prefers full sun and has become one of my favorite plants with it's rich, deep red foliage. It is nearly my height and would certainly be bigger if I had not confined it to a fairly small pot. I'm sure all Euphorbias can be considered succulents but I consider the cotinifolia a tree due to its size. I left it at my father's house in LA, since it was growing so well there.
