Ginkgo biloba [photo taken 27 June 2001] I've had this tree through one winter now and my boyfriend was convinced it was dead when it lost its leaves in the normal deciduous fashion. I purchased this tree to bonsai but could not bring myself to stunt its natural shape. It has grown from under six inches to several feet tall and is now developing two distinct branches.
