Schefflera actinophylla (Umbrella Tree) I saw one of my neighbors moving an elegant tall tree in 1997 and asked the local florist if she could get me one. My Schefflera grew like a bush rather than a tree. I purchased a second Schefflera for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day 1998. I left mine in Los Angeles; his is in the Bay Area; but both are suffering from an prolonged yellowing of the leaves. We are currently trying to rememdy this problem.
