White Plumeria
I believe Plumeria to be one of the loveliest smelling
tropicals in the world.

My White Plumeria came with the following information:
This plant is called the plant of love and its flowers are sweet
smelling. The plumeria is a very hardy plant and requires little care.
The leaves will appear in the first year and blooms in the second year.
Each year they will shed their leaves and new healthy ones will re-appear.
The size of the container will determine the size of your Plumeria. Here
in Hawaii it will grow up to 20 feet in height.
Planting Instructions:
Obtain a container with drainage holes. Place 1 to 3 inches of gravel
or stones on the bottom of the container for good drainage.
Use a media of equal parts of top soil and sand or fine gravel. Plant
the crown upright and approximately 1/3 of its length deep in the media.
It grows well in open sunny areas. Water when dry but do not over water.
Give small amounts of general fertilizer once a month.

I purchased my plant online on 19 October 2000 from a
now-defunct site. I planted it in regular potting soil (no gravel) and
covered it with a plastic bag. The crown is full of buds as well as a
single red-tipped leaf on the right side of the crown.
